A buyer in Skopje needs a hundred tonnes of apples. The first thing they do is search online. If your farm is not there, you are not on their list at all.
That does not mean you are worse. It means you do not exist for them.
What a buyer checks before calling
- What you produce and how much — variety, quantity, when the harvest is
- Where you are — distance affects transport, and so the price
- Real photos — of your orchard, not from the internet
- Certificates — organic, GlobalGAP, HALAL
- A phone that gets answered — not just a form
Export asks for more
A page in English, with scanned certificates and photos of the warehouse, is worth more than ten phone calls. And an address on your own domain looks different from a Gmail one when you negotiate a contract worth millions.
The season does not wait
Harvest lasts a few weeks. If the site goes down then, the lost calls do not come back — the buyer has found someone else. That is why hosting is not the place to save.
